Full Stack Developer (Intermediate)

About the Role

An engineering role for a developer with a strong foundation, high architectural discipline, and 5+ years of experience with modern high-performance web and data-driven stacks. The work is not only making code run, but building clean, scalable, modular systems that comply with architectural standards — working directly with the System Analyst on functional specifications and data contracts, and with the UI/UX Designer on implementing design tokens and precise interfaces without hardcoded styling. The team prioritizes efficiency, punctuality, and the use of cutting-edge technology to accelerate productivity, and provides one PRO-level premium AI account (budget allocation $100–$200/month — such as Claude Enterprise/Pro, OpenAI Pro/ChatGPT Team, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or another AI-assisted engineering tool of choice) dedicated to work-related computing and coding needs. Fully remote from anywhere in Indonesia, on a well-maintained, high-standard codebase with minimal legacy debt.

Responsibilities

• Build modern web interfaces on Component-Driven and Islands Architecture with fast initial load and optimized Core Web Vitals.
• Implement layouts precisely from Figma using centralized Design Tokens / CSS Variables, complying with a Zero Page-Level Hardcoding standard.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs on Node.js / TypeScript.
• Integrate systems with a Headless CMS (e.g. Ghost Content API / REST / GraphQL) and content storage engines.
• Design large-scale structured data generation logic, such as a Dynamic XML/JSON Sitemap Generator, URL routing hierarchy systems, canonical rules, and SEO metadata/schema automation.
• Write end-to-end automated test scripts with Playwright to validate functionality, multi-viewport UI, and visual regression.
• Ensure builds run cleanly and error-free on the CI/CD pipeline.
• Translate FSD/BRD documents from the System Analyst into robust code architecture and data schemas.
• Take full responsibility for estimates and the agreed delivery deadlines of each feature.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of real experience as a Full Stack Developer or Frontend-Heavy Full Stack Engineer on active, production-level digital products.
• Core language & runtime: TypeScript (strict mode) and modern JavaScript (ESNext).
• Node.js as a runtime environment for script automation, file system manipulation, and API integration.
• Experience with modern SSG / SSR / hybrid web frameworks, Astro preferred, or a comparable component-based framework such as Next.js or Nuxt.
• Deep understanding of modern CSS: CSS Custom Properties / Variables, Flexbox, Grid, fluid typography, and PostCSS.
• Accustomed to working with Design Tokens and modular CSS structures, avoiding inline styles or ad-hoc styling that breaks design consistency.
• Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs with strict data contracts (JSON Schema / OpenAPI).
• Experience integrating with a Headless CMS such as Ghost CMS, Strapi, or a Headless DXP.
• Experience designing Dynamic Sitemap Generation logic (XML/JSON), URL tree/routing mapping, and Structured Data implementation (JSON-LD / OpenGraph).
• Experience using Playwright for automated browser testing and visual audits.
• Command of modern build tools (Vite, Rollup, npm/pnpm scripts).
• Clean Git / GitHub Flow practice: tidy commit history, branching strategy, and pull request review.
• Ability to read business logic and design efficient technical solutions without over-engineering.
• Time management: respects release deadlines and proactively communicates project status and potential technical blockers.
• Comfortable collaborating in writing, in a structured way, within a remote working environment.
• Experience with technical SEO optimization (robots.txt indexing pipelines, Core Web Vitals optimization) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Docker / containerization and cloud deployment (Vercel, Cloudflare Pages/Workers, VPS/Linux) is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and read technical documentation in English is a plus.
