About the Role
Perform hands-on penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across web, network, mobile, and cloud environments, using industry-standard frameworks and tools to identify, validate, and help remediate security risks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments (VAPT) across web, network, mobile, and cloud infrastructures.
- Apply security testing frameworks such as OWASP, PTES, and NIST to guide assessment methodology.
- Use tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus/OpenVAS, and Wireshark to identify vulnerabilities.
- Manually validate and exploit vulnerabilities to confirm real-world risk and impact.
- Communicate findings clearly and work effectively with the team on remediation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Penetration Testing, VAPT, or Cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP, PTES, NIST, or similar security testing frameworks.
- Experience in web, network, mobile, and cloud security testing.
- Proficient with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus/OpenVAS, and Wireshark.
- Good understanding of networking, Linux, and Windows environments.
- Ability to validate and exploit vulnerabilities manually.
- Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, eJPT, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience with social engineering, CTFs, ISO 27001, or data protection regulations is a plus.
