About the Role
A role for a critical, meticulous analyst with a habit of structured thinking, serving as a thinking partner to the Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager. This is not an executor role that takes instructions and copies them into task tickets — it calls for an analyst who can dissect product requirements, challenge assumptions, evaluate edge cases, deliver objective technical assessments, and offer constructive alternative solutions before a feature enters development. A strong fit for someone who enjoys digging into system logic, designing information architecture flows, and writing technical documentation that is clean and precise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate intensively with the Product team to capture business requirements, dissect feature objectives, and perform feasibility studies and impact analysis.
- Provide critical, structured, and solution-oriented feedback on product ideas or requests before they are locked into final specifications.
- Write comprehensive, precise final specification documents that are easy for Software Engineers and QA to follow — BRD, FSD, User Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Design system flow diagrams: flowcharts, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, and ERD / data modeling.
- Analyze and design web navigation structures and system data architecture, including URL hierarchy, sitemap generation logic, dynamic routing, metadata mapping, and canonical logic.
- Define data contracts (API contracts, JSON payload structures) and integrations between modules and services, such as Headless CMS, REST API, or data crawler/indexer integrations.
- Work with the QA and Developer teams to ensure feature implementation follows the agreed logic specifications.
- Oversee the grooming, sprint planning, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of real experience as a System Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or a similar role.
- A background in software product development companies, digital agencies, or tech companies managing web products/applications live in production is preferred.
- Able to translate complex logic into well-sequenced, unambiguous, and neatly organized documents.
- High curiosity about how a system works end to end, unafraid to ask "why" and "what if scenario X fails".
- Proficient with modeling tools such as Mermaid.js, Draw.io, Whimsical, Miro, Figma, or Enterprise Architect.
- Accustomed to working autonomously with good time management in a fully remote environment.
- A Bachelor's degree (S1/D4) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, or a related technology field with a focus on systems analysis and design is a plus.
- Good passive and active English, particularly written communication and technical reading, is a plus.
- Understanding of modern web architecture concepts (SSG, SSR, Jamstack, or Headless CMS) is a plus.
- Understanding of how web crawling/indexing, sitemap generation, URL routing structures, and technical SEO rules work is a plus.
- Familiarity reading JSON, YAML, or API schemas (OpenAPI/Swagger) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD and automated testing workflows is a plus.
