About the Role
A strategic role in digital product development for a mature, critical designer with high quality standards — not an executor who needs step-by-step supervision, nor a designer who produces aesthetic visuals without a functional foundation. The role holds full ownership of brand consistency, user experience, and the business impact of every interface designed, and acts as the primary gatekeeper of the Brand Guidelines and Design System, where every decision from information architecture and interaction flow to component selection is rooted in marketing data, user behavior analytics, and objective research rather than subjective taste or passing trends. Work runs at a measured, results-oriented pace where punctuality and execution efficiency matter, since delays translate directly into cost and lost business momentum, in close and equal collaboration with the System Analyst, Product Manager, and Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and strictly enforce compliance with Design Tokens, Design System, and Brand Guidelines across the entire product ecosystem, covering both external-facing applications and internal tools.
- Ensure zero deviation in visual style (color, typography, grid, and components) across every touchpoint of the product.
- Proactively audit the consistency of UI that has already been deployed to production, and flag or correct drift from the design system.
- Leverage analytics metrics (user acquisition, conversion funnel, drop-off rate, and engagement) to identify UX problems and formulate data-driven solutions.
- Conduct deep-comparative research, heuristic evaluations, and regular user testing to ensure the product remains relevant to the evolving dynamics of market needs.
- Ground every design decision (information architecture, interaction flow, and component selection) in marketing data, user behavior analytics, and objective research rather than subjective taste or short-lived trends.
- Align information architecture and complex logic flows together with the System Analyst before moving into the high-fidelity design stage.
- Provide mature, well-structured handoff specifications for the Developer team, covering documentation of edge cases, interaction states, functional animations, and multi-device responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely and as an equal partner with the System Analyst, Product Manager, and Developer team so the product vision is realized precisely and on schedule.
- Estimate the required work effort realistically and break projects down into clear milestones.
- Consistently meet agreed deadlines, recognizing that delays translate directly into cost and lost business momentum.
- Proactively identify potential bottlenecks or delivery risks and offer alternative solutions that compromise neither quality nor brand consistency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer.
- A track record of handling digital, web, or SaaS products actively running in a production environment (live products).
- A portfolio link containing real case studies must be submitted with your application (mandatory).
- The portfolio must demonstrate problem understanding, the analyzed data and metrics, the brand constraints worked within, iteration process, and the real business impact of the outcome.
- Proficient in modern component architecture, including Design Tokens, Component Properties, Auto Layout, and Interactive Prototyping.
- A solid understanding of the close relationship between good UX and business/marketing metrics such as conversion rate optimization, retention, and friction reduction.
- Able to articulate and defend design rationale logically in front of stakeholders.
- Maturity and high quality standards, with the ability to take full ownership of a problem rather than waiting to be supervised step by step.
- An independent and accountable work ethic in managing your own workload and deadlines.
- Comfortable working fully remotely with a measured, results-oriented team rhythm.
- Experience working with teams using agile/scrum methods and structured workflows alongside a System Analyst or Technical BA is a plus.
- Technical understanding of frontend implementation constraints and mechanics (HTML/CSS, Flexbox/Grid, CSS variables/tokens) is a plus.
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Mixpanel, or PostHog is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a plus.
